what good would having a sniper nest in the fucking torch of the statue of liberty do? It's such an obvious spot for one, (in ww2, the US military developed a policy of immediately targeting church spires with artillery for this reason (also artillery spotters), and second isn't it on some island out in the middle of a shipping channel or something?
