If the year is 2022, then it's likely relating to the Nordstream, but overall the boat gas (LNG) was in a marginal role in terms of shipped gas for the German economy, as practically all of the US infrastructure was then taking over in early 2023 to today. So the vast majority of the costs of upped gas prices is from the US robbing Germany blind in gas pricing. The poster is just omitting that for some reason.
