Concrete is cheap and easy. Who the fuck can say concrete is expensive? Literally just mold and pour. Sure there is nuance to it, but the labor costs is so much lower and homes can go up fast. But see homes are supposed to be disposable debt entrapments.
As for how it looks, only so much you can do. Mid century and retro futuristic designs look amazing to me but not everyone will agree. Painting concrete is no advisable either.
