4th Arson of the year within visual distance of my yard has improved the neighborhood, as it was the gas station that got burnt down leading the homeless to congregate elsewhere. I have only had to deal with one bum in the past two months, he managed to kick my drain spout off before I got to him, but his lack of arms rendered him helpless to resist when I dragged him off my property. Soon the snow will be upon me and my property safe as the homeless all hide in caves or crawl back to the Rez for the winter.
My cut proof chain lock on my back fence has paid dividends, as I caught one useless subhuman Rez reject attempting to cut the lock only to have it damage his tool. You'd think they would just go around, but they are determined to cut through my yard instead of walking one lot over in either direction, like trespassing is some necessary biological function. Note that my yard is only fenced in the back, fully fencing it is next year's main project, so if they wanted to try and break into my shed or otherwise do nefarious things there is no need to cut the lock I put in place. It's purely there to deter trespassers cutting through my yard, but when I had a cheap one someone cut it within a week.
My former coworker who murdered a chick behind a 7-11 two weeks after we fired him is going to trial soon, after over a year. We will see what Gladue brings.
For the second time in five years some crack whore injun chimped out when she couldn't get a free Thanksgiving turkey and started a fire. This time it was only a container truck full of donated food instead of an entire rec center, but I'm beginning to believe that the Cree national sport is competitive Arson.
