the bible is full of names, you can start there. Or you can pour through demonologist literature, Id advice shovels full of caution there because theres a lot of bullshitters, take no ones word as gospel. But, experience and a mind toward wisdom goes a long way. Sometimes you can "just know it" as if the name comes to you like a gut feeling, and it can be tested, call someone whom you think has a demon the demon name that just came to you if their reaction is "uh wtf are you talking about?" then it probably wasnt right, if it was right youd get a reaction that would unsettle you, like the person having an instantaneous and total personality change, like a grown man suddenly acting like a toddler. or sometimes is visual like the persons eyes fucking changing color or their neck swelling up wider than their head (ive seen this one it was fucking horrifying).
But there is one thing that is vitally important: "dont try this at home" if you dont know what you are doing it can be dangerous as fuck to attempt an exorcism. Demons are contagious, especially when trying to cast them out, they wont (or cant?) stick around a person who doesnt participate in that particular demons sins (what either feeds them or allows them to stay, however you want to look at it) but they can still fuck with that person for a time. It is not at all fun to get fucked with by a demon that cant possess you they will make a week or two of your life hellish.
If I kept your attention this long here is a treat that so called "demon hunters" ignore: demons have names and they act out when called by name: there is a demon named Nigger.
