Rare. My trajectory was:
>Saw rumors of it in January and February and was spooked
>Wanted my sister to quarantine in the basement when she came home from university
>Lockdown occurred around this time
>Wanted more travel bans
>Was over it by the middle of the summer because I saw how it was being used
>Wore a mask and said I would wait to get the injections since they were new and I didn’t trust it
>As it became an IdPol issue and I thought everywhere was closed to me (I later found out practically no one under the age of 40 cared) I started going insane
>Family tried to pressure me into it and harassed me over it constantly
>Two years later I had waited it out and then promptly caught it at a friend’s wedding
I’ve never had it since whereas everyone in my family besides my dad caught it at least twice after getting the injections. My brother-in-law later admitted to me that he wished he hadn’t got it (which I never expected) and a guy I assumed was on my side of the issue told me he folded and got it to work at a job he ended up quitting less than a year later.

2022 was probably the closest I ever came to going postal. It completely destroyed any sentimental feelings I had for this country. I never really bought into the generational warfare narratives when I was younger but I definitely do now.
