It's not even that. ICE needed liek 50k more agents, both as a makework program and an enforcement program. Trump hired 10k and it's taken a year just to process like 1/10th of the resumes.
If he was smart he'd have given incentives to govcucks- you can keep your dumb HR job if you process my applications fast. A real fire under their asses.
