>filibuster
I talked about it last night.
>Killing the filibuster is a double edged sword in the long game, funnily enough fetterman would be the only D senator with some balls to vote against D's and keep it in place. The threshold used to be 66 votes until demonrates lowered the threshold to 60. Would probably be easier for Trump to have Thune through some pork at the moderate dems for their support than to get the filibuster undone. Filibuster is sacrosanct in neocon and moderate eyes.
>The Senate was to be the slow and deliberative body that works outside of the day to day "MUH FUCKING ISSUE IS IMPORTANT" hype that we see ruling the House and in other bodies of government like when NZ banned guns because a woman said they are bad and can cause death to mudslimes or such. Perhaps Drumpf leading them to pass legislation to enshrine the old filibuster requirements instead of simply filibustering without ruining their vocal chords would be the way to go. What could demonrats do then, blame him for making them work harder?
On making the filibuster have more stringent requirments
>Demonrats would never see it coming either. I imagine they have been talking about keeping the filibuster because that is the opposite of what drumpf has been saying lately, so they would be caught quite off guard. Just keep deporting their illegal voter base while having SCOTUS rule in favor of tariffs and against the VRA and their gerrymandering and just go for the long game.
