I don’t believe they will. My belief is that both parties acknowledge that border security has been crap for several years now and that change was needed. I think we’ll continue to see an influx of immigrants but I think it will be more measured and based on need. I think we’re more woke about the bad element that seeps in with porous borders; the human trafficking that takes multiple immigrants lives after a failed delivery, the drugs, the exploited and the sex workers. I also believe we will have a more measured response as we continue to remove the immigrants that fail to provide value through needed skills and employment or care of their own.
The Right did the hard part of moving forward with the deportations but I believe the Left will carry on but with a more humane approach.
