I know a democrat who before the government shutdown, said that democrats should shutdown the government to win the midterms and get what they want. A week into the shutdown he said its Republicans fault that the government shutdown. "Yes democrats shutdown the government , but Republicans made them do that by not giving them what they want so really its the fault of Republicans"
He also said "hold the line" a week ago about keeping the government shutdown for ACA money. Then said that its Republicans fault that democrats havent voted to fund the government.
