I got news for everyone, no one makes it to 30 years on a mortgage. They all refi and reset the clock or die along the way. The scheme is to build equity in the home and hope the market changes for the better when you decide to sell. You are never going to own a home. You basically are min/max buy low/sell high until you make some profit to potentiall buy a home outright with cash.
