in 2008 when shit crashed here we had a bunch of half-ass carpenters doing stairs and shit for half price. they sucked but "middle class" don't actually have any money so they went with cheap and shitty and now they're stuck with those houses. at 10 years old the caulk was cracking, the decks were warped and falling apart, think the sheetrock was even poisonous but china paid for all that crap
