The kind of people who wrote scripture were literally too fucking stupid to keep their food and shit in different places in the camp.
In all seriousness, not one of the stories of gods, devils, angels or demons is any more credible than the one these Indian villagers believe in. That their deity was spawned from cow shit and it's protection in repayment for homage is good health for the worshippers.
Not one of the stories in the Bible, either testament, is anything but fantasy. If you believe these events actually took place as described, you are an incorrigible fool.
