Let's talk about Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhosle. One of the greatest, noblest men from Western India. Truly a Gigachad.
Son of a local feudal lord in the Deccan region, he and his buddies at 15 yrs old took an oath over a Shiva Ling statue inside a temple situated on a mountain in the Deccan region (modern day Wai in Maharashtra), to drive out the muslims away from the Deccan and the Sahyadri mountains, destroy the yoke of islam. They were super successful. They contained the islamic expansion and they are the reason Southern India is so peaceful, culturally protected from the scourge of islam. South India never felt the sword of Islam the way North felt.
In over 300 yrs, no Lord or prince from the Deccan had dared revolt against isl*m. What a gigachad of a man.
The world needs a new Shivaji now. Such people are called "Yug purush" in Marathi. Translates as "Millenial Men". We need such people, who occur only once every millenium.
Even today if you listen closely , you can hear the wind whispering his name as it blows through every single mountain pass of the Sahyadris, every Ghat (curvy road), every forest, every nook and corner of every ancient fort on the mountainous Deccan terrain.
Jai Maharashtra,
Jai Hind.
