Five drones were spotted flying over Belgium's Doel nuclear power plant on the evening of November 9, Politico reported.
Energy company Engie told the newspaper that initially, three drones were detected, "but then we saw five drones," which were up in the air for about an hour.
The company's spokesperson, Hellen Smeets, said the sightings had no impact on the plant operations, adding that the relevant authorities are "continuing to monitor the situation."
◾ Several similar incidents have been reported in Belgium in recent weeks. In particular, drones were spotted over a military base in Marche-en-Famenne and over the Elsenborn military base.
