No if someone in her friend group did it would've been Diane B. In their friends group as she was the only person from that group he kept consistent contact with at least until the early 2000s when I last checked.
My mom went to school with him and kevin james graduated same year as both and kevin james was at their most recent reunion and he remember my moms maiden name. He spent the whole night talking to everyone Foley was not there sadly.
