>NJPW gets raided beyond repair, a bunch of wrestlers who swore up and down would never leave Japan to sign with WWE gets signed by Tony on his first try when WWE had many unsuccessful attempts at signing Ospreay, Okada, The Elite, Naito, Ibushi, etc.
The Elite got significantly better offers from WWE than NJPW when their deals were up. Jay White aas already negotiating with WWE and only went to AEW because Vince came back and they had a hiring freeze. Okada and Ospreay both expressed interest in WWE.
Face it, Covid fucked NJPW and wrestlers realized they could go to America and get paid signifcantly more with a much lighter schedule. Most of them that left were gaijins who never really had any loyalty to Japan in the first place.
How exactly does the partnership lead to them leaving? I don’t understand the thought process of saying they only left for money because of that.
