I honestly would prefer him to be a foreign invader instead of this "multiple contracts" thing which is totally hedging your bets and hoping, what, that he somehow gets babyface support out of this?
Even if Takesihta is on a dual contract or whatever, they should never TELL THE AUDIENCE and he should still be the big evil guy from another promotion who is coming to conquer NJPW.
Everything about this would better if they actually committed to hard monster heel Takeshita and he was just murdering every NJPW guy in his path because it would set up his heroic defeat.
But for whatever reason, Gedo can't seem to commit. The promo Takeshita did was very see-saw and non-committal.
