Ema Maishima successfully passed the audition and became a trainee at Stardom. She said that the training in the Self-Defense Forces and the training for professional wrestling were of a different quality to the training.

>"The summer training was really tough. The heat from practice would overpower the air conditioning in the dojo... That's how hard we practiced, and it really took a toll on me. There were six of us in the same year (in addition to Maishima, there were Matoi Hamabe, Anne Kanaya, Akira Kurogane, Yuria Hime, and Kikyo Furusawa), so people would drop out. We would get off the ring, take a break, and then come back. The events in the pro test were also tough... 25 push-ups of various types, five of each, two sets of 50 sit-ups, 200 squats, two sets of 30 back exercises on the apron, two minutes of neck bridges, and then a minute and a half. This was 30 seconds of breakfall, 30 seconds of ropework, and 30 seconds of breakfall. Then we did two sets of two minutes of joint locking, followed by four minutes of sparring. And finally, we made a self-promotion in the pro test. Doing anything similar to this menu in the dojo was tough, as you'd feel nervous being watched by your seniors."

When I heard what Maishima is currently paying attention to in terms of physical fitness...

>"I gain muscle easily, so I'd like to have a more solid body overall. I also want to show off my abs. I often cook at home these days. I actually gain muscle easily, but recently my constitution has changed and what I eat has started to have a direct effect on my weight, so I try to eat a balanced diet, with a lot of meat (laughs), and eat what I want, within my limits."
