The idea made sense when they first created it. The idea of a TV championship was that of a belt that is only defended in televised matches. Back then, most matches weren't televised so the gimmick worked. But now, I don't see why anyone would use a TV title other than NWA, and I only give them a pass because they have the original TV title.
