You wouldn't. You say you would, you can't say otherwise. Say you hit age 50 where you can't even work and you didn't win the lottery while your kid can't find a job or got knocked up by a player. Are you going to take care of her? Is the father, assuming he still has work and its not Mad Max in the world?

Part of me is thinking I shouldn't even have this conversation with you because its pretty cruel, but so is having a kid in this world if you're not completely set in life.
I hope you both are, since you haven't told anyone your status - should be fine in that case.
