You think it is about living through your children?
If you're a shitty parent and make shitty decisions then you'll be doing a disservice to them. To another separate human being, regardless of whether they are related to you or not but in this case they are and you'd be responsible for their well-being and for how they are raised up until a certain point. You're saying we shouldn't kill babies because in spite of their circumstances they might overcome them. I'm not saying we should kill them, I'd rather they weren't killed, abortion shouldn't be the first birth control option since there are plenty of ways to prevent pregnancy, but if you've already made a shitstorm of poor life choices, financial choices, and you'd be unable to not have your child be affected by that in ways that would hinder their future, then you and that child are better off not being in each other's lives. Not everyone is fit to be a parent and not every child is given what they need in order to have a future. Simply fucking and popping out a kid like you're taking a shit and then feeding them cheerios, putting an ipad in front of their face, and then having an "out of sight, out of mind" mentality is not being a parent.
