A lot of the negative stereotypes about Indians are magnified due to the large population of internet users.
I remember using internet in 2010, when there were much fewer Indians with internet access. I experienced no racism, and was comfortable saying that I was Indian. Nowadays almost 90 percent of the time I face some kind of racism so I feel afraid to even say I am Indian. And it's not just the White countries who hate us. MENA and SEA countries hate us even more.
The Indian immigrants' behaviour in the West is also very bad. It's difficult to claim that the racism is coming out of thin air or just because of skin colour, or because Westerners are "jealous" of Indians. Honestly they just hate us because most of us are badly behaved and unhygienic.
