The thing is almost nobody actually gives it their best shot. It implies picking the right person, seeing if they're moral and if you're compatible; working in the relationship, etc etc. I've grown tired of seeing women crying after breaking up an obvious douchebag, a douchebag everyone warned her about.
Also the "no sex without marriage" rule is something you're seeming to forget. You're not "forcing yourself to stick with the first person you're with". Because you don't have sex that easily. You only do it if you're absolutely sure yoy want to spend your life with that person. We forgot that is somethig we can absolutely do.
And maybe things go wrong down the line. You work through it then. . People forgot how to do it too. I dont mean staying if he's cheating or beating you, if he does that its your moral duty to dump your husband. But most of the times it can be worked out.
