I meant in terms of that the seizures if you get one can give you long lasting issues. Not that tramadol is much similar to lyrica just to clarify btw

tramadol metabolizes to ODSMT (o-desmethyl-tramadol) by a certain enzyme some people have more some lack it some have less etc etc tramadol itself actually has NO opioid activity its ONLY the metabolite funnily enough which is why it can for some people be MUCH MORE recreational and for others MUCH LESS . tramadol itself is an SNRI and quite similar to the SNRI venlafaxine. I know for me tramadol is more recreational trough the SNRI properties rather than the metabolites mu receptor properties because ODSMT is available legal nearly everywhere in the world and I just obtained it from a local online business (even payed taxes lol). Took some and didn't feel much euphoria so I figured it may be bunk so I took much more and all that happened was an empty somewhat itchy sedative nodd ... even worse than kratom honestly it felt like 20% kratom and 80% clonidine or 10% codeine and 90% clonidine . NOT WORTH

but I do like opioids but then tried tramadol again and compared the effects and turns out I like tramal for the SNRI part not the opioid part

So maybe your pills degraded to metabolize easier or less easy depending on if you are in for the SNRI or mu receptor effects.

You may now ask ... wait how come the SNRI part even matters for pain reduction, well youd be surprised that sert+noradren etc etc play A HUGE ROLE for pain which is why modern pain theraphy is nearly ALWAYS making use of SS/SNRI these days, it was shown in many examinations that depressed people had a muuuch higher pain sensitivity than those who werent. And results in using lets say a weaker opioid + amitriptiline were often equal to better than mono opioid. Mono ss/snri however only works for certain usually nerve related pain. Which is why for some ppl even tramadol helps better than OXY or morphine.
