Better than being able to play van halen solos to my mom and dad alone in my room and being a friendless loser virgin. Heads up: it doesn't matter how good you are at guitar if you have no social capital. I remember the one single time i was invited to a class party when i was in high school. There was an out of tune acoustic guitar there and the chad guy was strumming 2 open chords over and over and there were 5 chicks around him. I walked up and said if i could try plaving. Then i knocked out a basically perfect part of tommy emmanuel's classical gas rendition that i spent months perfecting every day. The response from the girls? "can you go somewhere else, we are talking to Chad". The chad started a shitty ass band with 2 other chadlites from class. They absolutely sucked ass, and everyone knew i was a way better musician than them (classically trained violinist, learned guitar as a hobby) but because i was a bullied loser nobody cared. People don't care whether you are good at something. I mean i am very musically accomplished, won awards at competitions, now i'm in a very good symphonic choir and we often tour around the world, but i am still a khhv loser with 0 close friends
