I would argue that point applies equally to anime or video-games as it does to "watching sports".
You have now three times failed to explain why "watching sports" is fine but "watching anime" or "watching TV" is bad, when your physical person is doing the same physical activity for all three things (sitting on couch, looking at TV screen).
