The Adversary is not "merely a split off" this is a Free Masonic conception of Our Father which is NOT the truth. The Devil existed before the creation of this Heaven and Earth, he rebelled when he was to worship the humans because he thought he was better since he was made of fire instead of Mud, he took 1/3rd of the angels with him and Make war with the Remnants to this day.
He is not an aspect of the Father, he is the Adversary. The Light has NOTHING to do with the darkness, and that fallen angel who used to be a covering of the Most High is not that any longer.
