If you gave everyone in the society an equal amount of money you would soon see that a few people at the top would gain more and more capital. These are the producers that provides goods and services to the community. We would be nowhere without them. They also have all the power in how to price their goods. It is not beneficial to price them exorbitantly high so they do not do that. But when you tax them and their income and their business then they get forced by the hand of the government arbitrarily to raise their prices. You are essentially just paying the government indirectly
