Oh, I forgot to clarify that you should act on your own with this.
don't ask them, don't try convincing them, just do it and see what happens.
Worst case scenario they get mad but It's not a deep enough issue for them to kick you out or whatever.
If that doesn't work you can always tamper with the humidifier so it breaks, take it apart, fuck up a wire, and put it back together.
If they can't be reasoned with then act on your own anon, it's what you CAN do.
