I agree, that's the reason in my case. I'm 6'2'', slim and definitely not ugly. Several women so far have tried to flirt with me, but I just didn't know how to respond to that stuff, or didn't want to.
But things like height and facial attractiveness definitely matter. I know a 5'7'' gym manlet with a Chad face who has told me he's been with 3 women so far at 26. One of them was even slightly taller than him. But he also told me he's approached/flirted with over 20 women and most of them rejected him specifically because he's short. He told me he'd kill to have my height and that if I went to the gym and bulked up, I'd look awesome. But that would be pointless as my introverted, avoidant, permavirgin personality would still mean that I wouldn't know what to do with the attention.
