Right now, there's an Indian baby being born in a slide of shit on the side of the road. He is being born with horrible deformities that will make every second of his life more agonising than you or I can comprehend. What's horrifying is even this archbeing of human suffering will induce suffering by being alive, more suffering than he himself will ever feel. This same event is occurring a million times per second in nature. This suffering greatly outweighs all the combined joy felt in the world, because all joy inherently requires suffering to be forced upon others (you simply cannot deny this, your very being alive requires other living things to suffer and die).
People criticise this perspective because acknowledging it is invalidating your own existence and admitting that life is morally evil.
