Most laws that revoke are freedom are "wont someone think of the children" logic with parents who are too lazy and want the government to do parenting for them. Seem to remember those food laws back in the day were just cos parents refused to give their kids shit in portions or be healthy, and now this when almost every ISP or streaming service offers family controls.
