To be fair they started offering Spanish/French in middle school so you could go up to the 6th level if you started back in 7th grade. German only went to 4. Ironically enough the Teaching quality was so low when they switched German teachers my senior year she combined the German IIIs and IVs into one class because they were basically at the same level.
