But, one of the things I've always dealt with is an inherent feeling of loneliness. I have heard that philosophers throughout history have also talked about this phenomenon and some argue that it is part of the "human condition".
Without going through all the context that lead me to have this realization or thought, I wonder if these collectivist ideas are rooted in that same loneliness.
As in, the choice to give up the individual self just to not feel lonely. Maybe that is what's at the root of their choice.
I can see myself making that choice, even. I just don't think it's in accordance with the truth of things and thus the wrong choice.
