Well i've never really had friends my entire life, was always a bullied loner. Met the girls in uni when i was working on opening myself up, maybe meeting a girl. But was unlicky and basically all the girls i befriended already had boyfriends (the 2 that didn't were lesbians, or so they told me). But i thought "okay, i'll just be friends with them, more friends is good, and maybe they'll introduce me to some single girl" but now as the years pass i'm getting more and more jaded and am realising they've probably been keeping me around because i'm useful to them, was top of the class in uni and carried all the group projects, helped them study, etc. And i was just happy i had someone to talk to and go to the movies with once in a while. Lately i'm beginning to think the juice isn't worth the squeeze, but if i let them go i'll go back to being a friendless loser, apart from another friend group i made in uni made up of 100% guys that are all vrigins and whom play tabletop and board games with me. But those guys are social equivalents of dead-end streets.
