Well now you're just living in a fantasy land, lad. This may have been true many decades ago, but today it is literally the minimum entry requirement for jobs over 20k.

Just because your company is so up its own arse it has a 3 month+ training period doesn't mean that someone couldn't just do the job perfectly well after a week as long as they have a senior manager they can go to for unexpected situations.
