>reproduce
You're never going to be wealthy then. The only people I know who reproduced and aren't poor work in higher management or run successful businesses. Raising a child to 18 in the US costs around ~250k. It's not much cheaper elsewhere either. I'm also following your "acquire currency" mindset, but it's through living minimalistically and saving/investing most of what I make. I'm on track to retire in my early 40s, but none of that would be even remotely possible if I was planning to reproduce. A good part of my plan relies on what I'm going to inherit from my parents. If I had to buy my own place and spend an extra ~200k raising one child, I'd be looking at $1m bare minimum to be comfortably rich. And with how scummy mortgages are these days, I'd be giving back twice the amount I took.
Unless you make a very high wage, reproduction is going to condemn you to a life of living paycheck-to-paycheck and constantly working till you're 70. And that's without considering the many things you become vulnerable to once you marry and have kids.
