It depends on the reason why, I think a lot of women don't understand that men show attraction in different ways from them and take it as them not being attracted/only showing attraction to have sex, and slowly become resentful and whithold sex/physical affection until they see more effort or whatever.
Others just want to punish guys for not doing enough at home.
I've never been in an irl relationship but this is what I've observed from family/friends and what I've read online.
