It's illegal in SK to distribute porn and pornsites are blocked to a far greater degree than they are here with the OSA. That being said, they have a very active gravure scene which blends in with the idol culture they have. It's pretty much accepted that since porn is banned and young men are extremely horny they need some kind of outlet, so they let k-pop idols act all sexy in skimpy outfits in their high production value music videos and allow for lots of racy photos. So the hardcore industry is non-existent, but the defacto softcore industry is enormous.
