>it'll make them feel more confident and better about themselves
I guess it's worth a try, though are you sure books work that way? Also, the last thing you want is a confident retard, as I said.
>Which is definitely better than having them feel like crap 24/7
If you feel like crap 24/7, books will not fix that; maybe therapy or anti-depressents will. I mean, you might improve their life quality a *little* bit, but at what cost? A band of vocabulary-wielding retards will be obnoxious to deal with, as I said.
>At least they'd have something to brag about, even if it makes them a bit more annoying
If this project will work out well, you're going to unleash hell upon this board. People who think they're better than you cause they read books are the worst, especially if they're obviously retarded; As I said.
Again, very ambitious, if naive, project.
But idk, maybe I'm just a pessimist and it'll work out fine. I read books and they're good to pass the time with, and improved my vocabulary, attention span, conceptualization and are good for escapism (but didn't give me more overall confidence or fixed my suffering or retardation). There are worse ideas, I suppose.
