this is just how it is talking to normal people. they truly don't listen to what other people are saying beyond a vague impression of it, and then spout out the first thought that comes to mind in response, which is often barely related but "keeps the vibe going." normal people don't mind this because it's what they are doing as well, so conversation in this manner works for them. this is also why they ignore you when you try explaining anything, because actually having formulate any thought is beyond them and they think you are weird for trying to do so. basically, this is going to happen with 95% of people who aren't autists, apart from the occasional high int, high emp normie
