Dude lets be honest here, a lot of the people subscribing to the "get rid of all the illegals" rhetoric secretly mean just mean "anyone who isn't white". Every nation in the world has historical examples of passingly anti-immigration legislation and it never really accomplishes anything. It's smoke and mirrors.

Naw it's like 99.9% of them are just here to work dude. Like I know the cherrypicked news stories you watch are super scary, but if you actually go outside you'll see these occurrences are not common. Also for every immigrant committing some crime there is a native citizen committing the exact same crime. This idea of dividing the human race into "us" and "them" isn't conducive towards progress in any direction.
