True stories from people who went through worse things. Not to diminish my or anyone elses experience but knowing that there are badasses who went through hells of war, beatings, imprisonemnet and torture and stayed strong in their faith and managed to have a huge positive impact on the people around them without whining is very powerful. There is hope and even in deepest darkness there is a place and need for good constructive deeds. Even if you never find romantic love or lose your virginity that doesn't mean you can't enjoy your life and be happy or make make the world a better place.
