Damn. I make 95k a year in the US and after all my deductions I also make 2.4k biweekly. But I'm also maxking my 401k for matching contributions (15k year total) and have the most expensive healthcare I can get as one of my kids needs it.
Thankfully I also have my house paid off with my nuke bonus from 10 years ago and I pull in another 2k/mo in other sources so my expendable income is insane, and have little over 600k in brokerage but.....
I guess second post guy is right, its never enough. My main worry now is that sure I'm stable, but for how long? I don't like how in a normal everday job in the US it doesn't feel like you have much security and its prone to layoffs. Just over a decade ago I was a NEET minimalist with nothing but my futon on the floor, a laptop and my coffee mug in a corner of my uncle's garage.
