Mostly just meaning boomers weren't into the internet until like 10-15 years ago so they didn't particularly notice the switch from analog to digital living except that some of them had kids who sat on the computer all day. But at the time that wasn't considered normal to be on the internet a lot at all. Even online dating for a long time was considered like a joke for desperate people it seemed weird to meet a partner online. There's boomers who scroll Instagram 24/7 now who didn't have an email address in 2008. Smartphone changed everything.
