I actually haven't seen much hand wringing over guns this time, and mostly just irony posting that he got shot during a gun control debate.
Hopefully lefties are waking up that having guns is a necessary thing for them. Any minority without guns is a fool when there are to the order of tens of millions of Americans that fantasize on a daily basis about killing them, deporting them, imprisoning them, or otherwise taking their rights away. Tens of millions of Americans that making owning guns their personality, have military backgrounds or military adjacent stolen valor LARP backgrounds, and they want to KILL you because a guy who is lying on the internet to exploit social media algorithms made something up about you.
