There is much to be critical about Trump's policies, but as someone who voted for him, I don't consider myself a fascist. Granted, I am largely a single issue voter on the topic of immigration restrictionism. To me, it appeared that since the mid 2010s that Trump was the only reliable nativist in the country that wanted to stop rampant immigration from the developing world that is making the country worse overall.
I can assure you that Trump will not hold onto power forever and there is no imminent fascist takeover of this country, that's purely in your imagination. How do I know this? Those "efforts" you're likely thinking of are ineffectual and quickly stopped by checks and balances in the government and the population's affinity for democracy.
But I guess this just goes back to what I was talking about. I just don't see the logic in misconstruing me (or anyone else for that matter) as a fascist for supporting only some of Trump's policies.
