I'm somehow a shill for rightfully calling Kirk a moderate, fascinating. Well, I'll quickly retort, since this seems a bit silly to argue about the politics of a man who was consistently rubbing shoulders with and paid by establishment, moderate conservatives. You cite his Wikipedia page that frames him as someone who was a hardline Christian nationalist and white identitarian. Simply put, much of that was empty rhetoric. Then again, yoh likely just mistook his disappointment that the country's virtues of being mainly Christian and ethnically white European are being supplanted by outside factors that are shielded by the political establishment. As for the pic related, it's hard for me to understand this as anything other than comments he said in jest, especially when you consider that nothing came of that incident anyway. It certainly would've been a terrible career choice for him to seriously advocate for any harm done to the former house speaker.

You may think of me what you wish, but I'm not paid off by anyone like Kirk, and just a few excerpts are not enough to convince me that this guy wasn't a simple moderate.
