my opinion hasnt changed because reality hasnt changed

charlie boy was a fascist whose existence made the world a worse place. the planet is better off without him. he preached against empathy, he was pro genocide, and he had no problem with gun violence or political violence against children or his political opponents.

this attack was absolutely a stepping stone that the right was looking to use to take another leap towards open fascism, which is where they're going anyway. because the shooter wasnt a progressive, or even a liberal, it will largely be ignored, like almost all politically motivated violence is (because the overwhelming majority of it is factually committed by the right). they will hold on until the next shooting done by their political enemies, and use that as an excuse.

they will never admit that this is the bed conservatives made, or that the overwhelmingly majority of political violence comes from their side, or that they are even more openly celebratory when one of their political enemies is killed (and on a much larger scale)

all because conservatives are utterly and completely incapable of introspection. life for them is a series of attempted excuses to justify their animal bigotry.
